Individuals who want to learn how to become a parole officer in Grand Island will find that all new parole officers must complete pre-service training through the Staff Training Academy in Lincoln. In addition to pre-service training, the Academy provides annual in-service training, office professional training, instructor courses, and quality/leadership courses.
